Our Chardonnay was planted in the 1970s to Wente Selection standards in one of the oldest Chardonnay Vineyards in the Santa Cruz mountains; Howard Family Vineyards. We pressed whole clusters and utilized indigenous yeast for fermentation to ensure this wine's complexity, flavors and texture. It is then aged in French oak barrels for 12 months and racked in stainless steel for 6 more months.
